Adventure Discipleship Program (ADP)
Imagine… a week backpacking in God’s wild with fellow students and professional guides.. As part of your school year!
The Adventure Discipleship Program is a chance to step away from the everyday and explore what it means to grow in faith and leadership. Through practical coursework and a multi-day wilderness trip in BC’s beautiful backcountry, you’ll develop skills and discover more about yourself and your purpose. This isn’t just a program; it’s an opportunity to be challenged in leadership, courage, and faith with a small group of your peers.
SEAL Team Outreach Program
Serving Others – Exploring Faith – Advancing the Gospel – Leading with Integrity.
Are you looking for ways to serve the global community? Are you interested in deepening your relationship with Jesus? Have you wondered how God is at work in different areas of the world? Do you desire to serve God in a mission setting? The SEAL Team outreach program at Heritage Christian Online School is a travel and outreach program that provides an opportunity for students to see God at work in another country, grow in their own faith, develop as servant leaders, and have a genuine spiritual impact on the world around them. This is a year-long, synchronous program that culminates in an international trip serving alongside mission organizations.
Comparative Civilizations Program
The HCOS Comparative Civilizations Program is a transformative blend of learning, faith, and adventure.
Students journey together in a close-knit community as they explore culture, art, philosophy, world religions, and Christian worldview, then bring their learning to life on a spring trip to Europe that can change destinations each year. With meaningful pre- and post-trip coursework, on-site field assignments, and opportunities for deep spiritual reflection and connection, Comp Civ offers an unforgettable experience for students while shaping hearts, minds, and lifelong memories.

School Transcripts
Grade 12s can view their transcripts and order them to be sent to post-secondary institutes, prospective employers, or themselves on the Student Transcripts Service.
Students must create a Basic BCeID account to access their information. Students need only complete their PSI selections once in the current school year. Students should make their PSI selections by May 1 but if needed, may add to their selections at any time through to the first week of July.
Grade 10 Numeracy Assessment
The Grade 10 Numeracy Assessment is a provincial assessment that assesses student proficiency in numeracy. It is a graduation requirement and students take the assessment in their Grade 10 year. The Grade 10 Numeracy Assessment focuses on the application of mathematical concepts learned across multiple subjects from kindergarten to Grade 10. It requires students to solve problems by using five numeracy processes (different ways of thinking and working): interpret, apply, solve, analyze and communicate.

The Grade 10 Literacy Assessment is not based on a particular course, but on learning across multiple subjects, from kindergarten to Grade 10.
